Introduction / overview
Density Conversion turns a single density value into its equivalent in the units people actually meet — kilograms per cubic metre (the SI unit), grams per cubic centimetre, pounds per cubic foot, pounds per US gallon, and a full set of extras from tonnes per cubic metre down to milligrams per litre.

Limitations

- •Density must be greater than zero — a substance cannot have zero or negative mass per unit volume, so the calculator rejects values of 0 or below.
- •For engineering or safety-critical work — structural loads, buoyancy, or material selection — confirm values against certified references and the applicable standards; unit conversion alone does not replace material testing.
